Using Scout Places

Scout Places provides recommendations, AI-generated plans, and links to third-party bookings. You may use it for personal, non-commercial planning. Don’t scrape, resell, or republish our content, and don’t attempt to disrupt the service.

Accounts

You’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be 13 or older. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms or our content rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, captions and tips you post. You grant Scout Places a non-exclusive license to display and distribute them within the product. Don’t post content that is unlawful, sexual, hateful, harassing, spam, or that features identifiable minors without permission. All uploads are screened and may be removed.

Bookings and third parties

Tours, tickets and stays are sold by third parties under their own terms. Scout Places is not the merchant of record and is not responsible for those experiences, their pricing, or cancellations. Some links are affiliate links.

AI-generated plans

Plans, guides and answers are generated from our data and may contain errors. Confirm hours, prices, age limits and availability with the venue before you go.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout Places is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any outing you choose to take.
